Hi friends,
today my new creation Inventor now and in the future!

Ich habe mich für keinen bestimmten Erfinder entschieden, sondern für einen kleinen Jungen, der davon träumt ( nicht umsonst heißt mein Blog Scrapbook Dreams ;-))
einmal ein großer Erfinder zu werden.
Er hat tausend verrückte Ideen im Kopf, die nur darauf warten, einmal Wirklichkeit zu werden.

I decided for no particular inventor, but for a little boy who dreams of (not without reason is the name of  my blog Scrapbook Dreams ;-)) even have to be a great inventor.
He has a thousand crazy ideas in your  head, just waiting one day becoming a reality.

The focal point of this mixed media canvas is this wood box (old packing material) as a shelf or rack for many collected items, which he requires necessarily for his new invention ;-)

On the beach

Hi scrapy friends,

it's summer time, the right time for a dream vacation on the beach. I had to postpone my holiday, unfortunately, but the bigger the anticipation. But I like to remember now the last 2 years ago.

So it's the right time for a new Layout, a beautiful memory on sun, sea and happiness with restful, relaxing days.

My idea was a  mixed media Project with a beautiful motif from A. Mucha, 

a great artist from art nouveau era.

Eines meiner Lieblingsmotive - der Mohn, bedeutet für mich den Beginn des Sommers.

Intensiv leuchtende Mohnfelder im Sommerlicht, die Natur strahlt mit der Sonne um die Wette :-)

Summergirl

 um solche Mixed Media Projekte interessant zu gestalten, brauchen die Ojekte immer viele Strukturen. Meistens  nutzte ich dafür diese Metallcharms. Da ich aber immer wieder gern neue Dinge ausprobieren muss, habe ich hier mit getrockneten Naturmaterialien gearbeitet, wie Gräser, Mohnkapseln, Getreideähren oder Lebensbaum. Für die Sonnenstrahlen wurden Papierstreifen ausgeschnitten, wie alle anderen Elemente mit weißem Gesso übermalt und mit leichter Goldfarbe patiniert.

For the sunrays paper strips were cut out, like all other elements painted over with white gesso and patinated with light gold color.

Hi friends,

The new theme on Compendium of curiosities 3 Challenge 6 Burlap panel

I use a mini burlap panel 8 x 8 , which i have framed as special effect. 

My projects are always very feminine, romantic and playful, but as some of you may already know, I love to reinvent myself again and again. So I am trying now in projects that are more masculine, simple and clear.

Eigentlich sind meine Projekte immer sehr feminin, romantisch und verspielt, aber wie einige von euch vielleicht schon wissen, liebe ich es, mich immer wieder neu zu erfinden. Deshalb versuche ich mich jetzt auch in Projekten, die eher maskulin, einfach und klar sind.

Tag Time Travel

es war mal wieder an der Zeit ein richtiges Mixed Media Projekt zu gestalten, ich arbeite sehr gern mit diesen Sprühfarben. Es entsteht immer ein Überraschungseffekt in der Coloration, das Endergebnis ist meistens nicht planbar und das macht das Ganze unheimlich spannend.

It was the right time again to create a real mixed media project. I love working with these spray paints.

 It is always a surprise in the coloration, the end result is usually not predictable and that makes the whole thing very exciting.

 entstanden ist ein Tag im sogenannten industrial grunge look. 

es wurde mit verschiedenen Schablonen (Raute, Filmstreifen, Zahlen) gearbeitet. Außerdem kamen verschiedene Distress Inks (Reinker + Wasser) zum Einsatz. Ich nutze gern diese flüssigen Tinten in Sprühflaschen wegen der guten Farbpigmentierung und dem Alterungeeffekt.

it was worked with various templates (diamond, filmstrips, numbers). In addition, (Reinker + water) several distress inks were used. I like to use these liquid inks (packaged in spray bottles) because of the good color pigmentation and aging effect.

the colour combination was new for me (black, brown, blue, silver) but i think the right combination with a little bit steampunkish ;-)

because i love love this style because you can always other exiting things rediscover!!

Hi crafty friends

today a new sewing project, the topic by Our creative corner  

 Hand died ribbon and home made flowers

It's a fabric doorhanger in vintage look  with four bags for storage of jewelry or tags 
with handmade organza blossoms. 

 

The flowers are from small residue from linen, rolled and glued

also i used several stamps either stamped directly on fabric or onto iron transfer paper

the large blossoms were partially made with  

Big dies Tattered flowers, they are made of organza fabric

the bow is made from ribbon

 There are many tutorials for making flowers to be found all over the internet, so we hope you'll have fun with this challenge!
